THE ROLE
Our client is a leading supplier of doors, frames, and hardware in the construction industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled CAD Detailer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, specifically with expertise in doors, frames, and hardware. He will be responsible for providing accurate estimates and detailing project requirements for our clients.
SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PDT (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Local Time) follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Review and analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, and other related documents to understand the scope of work for doors, frames, and hardware
· Perform accurate quantity take-offs and material estimations for doors, frames, and hardware, ensuring all components are included in the project scope
· Develop detailed and accurate estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related costs, by using appropriate estimating methods and software
· Prepare detailed and organized project submittals, including product data, shop drawings, and samples, according to the project specifications and requirements
· Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain accurate and competitive pricing for doors, frames, and hardware materials, and ensure the best value for clients
· Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely project estimates and detailing
· Continuously monitor project progress, adjust estimates and detailing as necessary to address any changes in project scope or requirements
· Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and best practices to ensure estimates and detailing are relevant and competitive
· Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other related events as necessary to gather information relevant to project estimating and detailing
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
· Over 3 years of experience in estimating and detailing, preferably in the doors, frames, and hardware industry
· Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
· Strong knowledge in construction materials, methods, and processes, particularly in doors, frames, and hardware
· Familiarity with industry standards and building codes
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise in using estimating and detailing software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst)
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
